Israel is vitally important to stability in the Middle East.

Israel is an ally to the United States unlike any other in the Middle East and very few in the world. Though we may disagree at times--like family, we can count on each other when the chips are down. Our common interests are based on the foundational principles of each country and its people as opposed to the favor we can obtain from one ruling leader or ruling family. We all remember what a “strong ally” the Shah of Iran was supposed to be. He may have been an ally or simply liked the aid we gave. But the people of Iran were not and we see the results today. With the exception of Israel, the entire Middle East is but a change of leadership from becoming a cadre of Iran’s.
